What's the good news!
Hey, AWESOME news today. Another huge manifestation that I am proud, proud, proud to announce! Let me just say, I LOVE getting mail. I always have. I probably always will. Proof, today.
My sis muttered that the mail was here on her way downstairs and my heart stopped. I wanted that letter. I wanted it today, in that moment, and I wanted it bad! I saw that letter there, and when I opened the mailbox, it was there!
The letter regarding my acceptance to the new college I want to attend. Interesting enough, earlier today, I was texting back and forth with a friend from my old college and she was shocked that I had such new plans. We don't exactly keep in touch. I will tell you exactly what I told her. I said, I finish community college this summer, and I AM going to (Insert new College name) in the fall. I kid you not. There was a brief moment when I was typing where I put, I am hoping to go to such and such in the fall, but I stopped. I don't HOPE to get in there. I AM going there, and I AM excited to do so! So I quickly backspaced the "hoping to get in" part.
Well guesssss what?????
yup....I GOT IN!!!!! I am way too excited! In total celebration mode over here! I just absolutely NEEDED to share that with you! It's awesome and I love this!
With that said, let's go back to what we were talking about yesterday.
FOR THE EASILY ANGERED DRIVER:
So you can't get to your destination without feeling like you just went through a cycle of not just road rage, but 'roid rage. This could make the drive a bit...um...not fun. We're going to try and fix this.
1. Heavy Traffic
Mmkay. I know how frustrating heavy traffic can be. You're stuck in one place for what seems like forever, and your bored and irritated. Not to mention late for work. But stop and think about it. Is your anger helping the situation here? Think about that spiral of negative feelings. You're PO that such and such happened, and then because you sent a negative vibration, and you are in the state of allowing more of that negativity to flow into your experience, you're going to get more of it. Think about the last time you were caught in a traffic jam. When you screamed and cursed did it get any better? Probably not. It probably got worse. So here's what I want you to do:
Since you're not going to dismantle those angry feelings overnight, you have to start finding reasons to be happy. The easiest way is to look around you. There are many things that we fly by in our cars everyday and miss because we are unplugged from what's around us. You're stuck. You've got time. Take a look. You'll notice how beautiful the scenery is. Pretty flowers, nice fresh looking grass, or if you get lucky like me, you'll get to see a family of three deer hanging out at the front of the woods. Find one thing, then you'll find another, and then another, and so on and before you know it the traffic is moving again!
2. Other Drivers
A lot of what I said can be applied here, so I'll try not to repeat too much. I know that other people are not you. Do you know, accept, and believe this? You cannot control what other people do. You should neither try or want to. Does this make sense to you? Okay, good. But what about when their decisions are affecting you? Then what? Well I am actually still learning about this subject, but let me share with you my opinion.
Other people only affect you if you ALLOW them to do so. If the person in front of you is going 15 MPH in a 45 zone, okay, you could be irritated, bothered by this. But I say why? You are in your car headed to where you want to go, and due to the laws of the universe, as long as you are continuously moving in the direction of your destination, you are going to end up there. So what if it takes slower than you expected? You get there don't you? Not only do you get there, but you arrive safely. What exactly is the problem? "Oh but I'm late! I don't get to do such and such because of that old granny holdin' me up! Ah. Well then my friend if you say you are late, and you believe that you are late, if you allow yourself to be late, then I guess you're late my friend. Think about it.
(A note on time: I personally believe that time is something created by humans. In my opinion only, I say that the beings that we truly are outside of these beautifully embroidered shells we currently live in have no concept or understanding of time. What IS time after all? I always wondered. I mean there's plenty of scientist who would love to discuss that with me with fancy big latin-y words and heavy loaded math equations, but would that really answer it for me? who knows?)
Bottom line is to keep tally of how you feel. Feel Good Now. Always now. find something to make you feel happy and good, and then good experiences will follow.
With that said, I am loving everything bunches right now, and that includes you! Know that because we are connected through this wonderful universe, we are like-minded, you are my friend. I appreciate that. I feel good now. How about you?

In the Cah! Part 1 (Day 30: 3/30/10)
What's the good news?
First off, let me say YAY for getting to 30 days with such amazing results!
So here's something that I have not touched on yet. What's it like for you in your vehicle? Do you enjoy hopping in your car and cruising USA? Do you have a good time riding to work in heavy traffic? Hmm?
Well if you really do enjoy driving, that's great! I've found that driving in the car is a total uplifting experience. Each time. Or at least...it can be! If it isn't, well that's no good! Tonight I want to help you out here. So how should we do this?
Okay, I am going to break it up into two general categories. Since it will be pretty long, I'm going to break the posts into to and cover the second one tomorrow. That one is probably shorter, so it'll give me a chance to report in on what's going on in my life as well. Here are the two drivers that I am addressing:
-The All-fearing driver
-The Easily Angered driver (tune in tomorrow)
Oddly enough, I have been both of these drivers (sometimes all at once?), so I have a little experience here.
FOR THE ALL-FEARING DRIVER:
Ok, so you have mini-panic attacks every time you go out--when you go out, because driving is, well, scary. So what exactly are you scared of? There are two main fears dealing with driving that I know of, so I will address them both.
1. DYING
Well that's a logical and somewhat fair fear. Many, many, people get into car accidents everyday. Some die. It's a fact. Another fact? People die. Everyday. Regardless of the way it happens; it happens. There is a lot to be said about death, but that is another post for another day. A lot of people have different ideas on it, so I shall save that for later. My main point here is that in this day in age, death happens (for your body anyway). It is a promise.
You really should not let a that fear which is promised to you in one way or another, govern what you do and do not do. You can live on should you allow it, you could die tomorrow. Whether you are in a car or not. So you need to let that fear go. Just let it go. When you get in your car, state clearly to yourself, "I am safe. I happily arrive to all of my destinations on time. It feels good to feel safe and comfortable in my car that gets me where I need to go."
But of course, I know that if it involves a built up fear, it's going to take some time. Work at this. Take small steps. Spend time in your car without driving. Just be in your car and work at feeling good in your car (or the car that you go places in). You want to work up too the point where you can actually feel not just comfortable there, but feel GOOD. If you have to, take things that you enjoy with you, maybe your favorite book, or some leisurely activity that you enjoy, and do it there. Then you can associate having fun with the vehicle. You'll feel good about the car. Only good can come after that point.
2. THE POPO
Now, here's where I've had issues with driving.
So every time the light turns red you hit the brakes, and your hands are shaking something fierce because you thought you saw a state sheriff man in your rear-view mirror. You're just plain scared of getting pulled over by the police. Or further, you're scared of getting a ticket, and having to go to court, and having to pay fines...then there's points on your license and then...ahh!
Let me tell you, I had this problem once. I worried over getting pulled over and getting in trouble, whether I was breaking the law or not. It was tough. Well after worrying, and worrying, and worrying over it some more every time I got in my car, guess what? Yup, the universe gave me exactly what I was asking for. (and by "ask" I mean the vibration of, getting pulled over by the cops) I got pulled over.
Even though I was scared to death, I learned two very important things that night:
-The Law of Attraction works (haha, as you already know. and,)
-Police are people too. Ordinary people who are just doing their job and trying to keep us all safe. They aren't scary.
The cop I got was actually very attractive, and he was very very nice to me! I didn't get a ticket or anything, not even really a warning. He just joked at me and suggested I pay better attention to what I was doing. That experience was enough to get rid of my fear of cops. The bottom line is, if you aren't doing anything wrong, then there is no logical reason for you to fear being pulled over. They are only looking out for people who aren't abiding by the laws. So just do what's right and you don't even have to worry about the police. So let that fear go.
Ok, so this ends part one of the 2 part post on driving in the car. If you are an all-fearing driver, I hope that this is at least a little light on your fears. I hope that you can learn to enjoy driving! It's a time to meditate, focus, or even just have a good time jamming to your music. It shouldn't be something that you fear!

Hungry! (Day 29: 3/29/10)
What's the good news?
You know, the Law of Attraction works every time! Today I woke up feeling like blah, and not really happy and not feeling bad either. I put out those vibes all day long, and that is exactly the kind of day I had. School, work, home was what happened today. I am very sleepy.
I did manage to get to page 100 in the next Hicks book, so I know I'll be finished with that one soon.
Still working on the surprise! Heading toward the middle of the week when things start to slow down, it'll get a lot easier to get more things done and have more experiences to blog about...
Wait a minute...I really feel like I am not thinking to the best of my ability here. This day was blah because I made it blah! I am not allowing that to happen tomorrow! I vow to have a spectacular day tomorrow, and smile continuously! Let's try and not have anymore blah days! I have no idea why I allowed that today...well I will have quite a bit more free time tomorrow, so I think I will try out another process from "Ask and it is Given". Scripting was a lot of fun. I want to try something else now. Or maybe I might make up my own. That'll be a lot of fun.
Another post with thoughts everywhere. It's because I am hungry and tired. But I need to really work on that. I shouldn't say things like "I'm tired" and "I'm exhausted". Instead I will say, "I worked well today."
I'm going to start working on how I say things on here because they reflect thoughts which may or may not be beneficial to my life experience. Hope that gives you something to think about.
More to come soon. Oh, and if you want to know about something, feel free to ask. I will get back to you with the very best answer that I can give you! We're all in this together (no relation to HSM) and it's great to have support. I am here for you!

Clean, clean, clean! (Day 28: 3/28/20)
What's the good news?
Okay so this should have been a book review post, but I am going to put it off once more, only because right now I am spent from all the Spring Cleaning today. I managed to get a heck of a lot done and at the same time, created a whole other big mess! (hehe) It's okay, I already anticipated that this would be a multi-day project.
Well the things that I did get done were:
-I completely re-vamped my bookshelf, by saying bye bye to all of my manga.
-I de-cluttered my closet and managed to arrange my clothing by color and length
-I got rid of all the clothing I haven't worn in forever
-I went through a huge case full of old papers from 6th grade all the way til my freshman year of college! (a LOT of papers)
I'm really proud of myself for getting that far. It's currently a work in progress that I hope to have finished by the end of next week. I ended up purchasing a few items to help the process along. Oh, and I found a whole trunk full of memorabilia from a passed relationship! That was a total shocker because I thought I didn't have anything left. I'm going to be ceremoniously disposing (trashing :P I'd burn them if I were allowed) of each of those items. It's not that I am still bitter or anything, but this whole experience is about new beginnings and fresh starts. It's holding me back and I guess I realize that holding on to it is holding onto old vibrations that are not and should not be a part of me anymore. So I'm going to let it all go! For real this time ^_^ I'm ready. How was your spring cleaning?
With that said, I am over my blogging time and I am going to crash. School and work tomorrow. Love you all!

Wha...Work Early? (Day 27: 3/27/10)
What's the good news?
I am exhausted! But in a good way of course! Did a lot of work because my co-worker decided to quit earlier than expected, so I went on in. It was an interesting day indeed. Mostly, it was so interesting because absolutely nothing happened. Haha. These past few almost 30 days have been so energetic and full of activity that I nearly forgot what an average, not-much-happening day felt like. I just got up, read, went to work, and came home. Nothing bad here, but I don't know, maybe I am bored?
My affirmation today was "Today I will connect with nature" Well I dunno if this counts, but as I was driving down the road today, a very interesting bird sat and caught my eye as I passed. I don't think it was watching me, but this bird was so pretty. It was like a golden color. I don't know bird types or anything, so I can't exactly identify it for you, but all I know is that it was beautiful, and I am thankful that it caught my eye.
Tomorrow I get the day off, so I will be doing my Spring Cleaning! Also, I will try and get that book review done, since I am now officially done reading it! ^_^ I started the next one, but I didn't really have that much time to get very far because of work. I will continue to work on the surprise for the blog too! I think it will be done by at least Friday, so keep your eyes open for awesome blog enhancements! Bwahaha so good it feels evil. (Good evil. ha! oxymoron!)
In case you haven't picked up on it yet, I am probably going to pass out into a deep slumber very soon. I get really silly when I'm sleepy, so before I scare anyone, I'm going to call it a night.
Thank so much for reading! I hope that you participated in Earth Hour tonight, and don't forget about Spring Cleaning tomorrow!

Spring Cleaning! Part 2 ( Day 26: 3/26/10)
What's the good news?
So today was pretty cool. I woke up to help my sister do surveys for her class, and met a reasonably attractive guy. It was cool because I was able to hold his attention for more than 2 seconds, and later on, my sister patted me on the back for being so social. Her acknowledgment meant a lot more to me than the actual situation, because to me it's like she recognizes my progress. Others can see the changing that's going on here. I love it!
So tonight I want to chat with you about Spring Cleaning again. I already told you about doing the mental spring cleaning, but now I wanna talk about the physical cleaning of your living space. Whether you live in a house, a box, a dorm room, or a mansion, it's time to clean up! Even if you already have a neat and tidy space, let's clean up some! (Of course, for those of you who keep relatively organized space, this is going to go a lot faster for you)
So where to start? Hmm, let's begin with the most obvious. Pick up anything that litter the floor first. You don't have to do everything all at once. Set a time limit for yourself, turn on some jamming music, and just pick up! (Thanks to CharmingPixieFlora for that tip) This is fairly straightforward: pick up anything that doesn't belong on the floor. I too have issues with throwing laundry on the floor, so lets start here because it's the most pressing. After this, you can be done for the day, or move on to the next area.
When you feel ready, let's get a hold on organizing our stuff. There are a lot of tools you can use to help you get organized, and way too many to list here. I plan on doing this on Sunday, so I'll share with you what I am going to do. If you find you like something else, feel free to share it!
I got this tip from a close friend, because I come from a long line of packrats, and believe it or not, it's a hereditary trait :( So I am determined to fix that! Here's how I'm gonna do it. I will get four boxes (or trash bags, or anything that can be use as a sorting utensil) mark one as "Need/Keep" one as "Donate", the next will be labeled as "Trash It!" and the last one, my favorite, "I have never used this before, but I KNOW I will use it SOMEDAY!!"
So go through your stuff and sort them in the appropriate bin. If I were you, I would time this as well, because it keeps it interesting how much you can get done in that little bit of time! There are specific instructions for each bin, so try and keep those 4 main bins. Don't start making up your own little subpiles, because you're going to end up back where you started. Once you are done sorting, I suggest you quit for the day, because the job is not finished yet, and you could get irritated by the next steps.
For the "KEEP/NEED" box:
You're probably going to need to sort stuff again. (I actually redo the whole process for each type of thing in my room. Like for clothes, I'll spend time sorting those, for books, I'll sort those as well. But some people just want to do it all at once.) Find each item in that box a home, because if you can't find it a home, it's going to have to go in one of the other 3 boxes. You have to be tough it comes to that!
For the "Donate" box:
Round everything up, and try to at least keep like items together before stopping by your local Goodwill and dropping the box/bag/whatever off forever. It'll make someone else's job easier! This might be a hard step for you if you like to hold on to things. I suggest you try a releasing technique, and just let go the minute you drop it all off. Once you get back home and have all of that space, I bet you will feel a lot better!
For the "Trash it!" box:
It's pretty obvious here what you do. But PLEASE OH PLEASE, if you notice that you have something that can be recycled, recycle it! That's the only thing I want to beg you about here. So many things that we can recycle get thrown out because we just don't stop to think about it.
MY FAVORITE For the "I have never used this before, but I KNOW I will use it SOMEDAY!!" box:
This is simple. You don't even have to re-sort this one. Unless you want to. But all you have to do is grab a Permanent marker and write on it the Date of when you put it all in there, and then a date 2 months in the future. Now close it up and find it a home. Then leave it alone. Don't bug it. Don't ever touch it. On the day you marked it for 2 months later here's what you do:
1. Place the bag/box/whatever in the floor. (DO NOT open it.)
2. Grab a pen and a piece of paper.
3. List every single item that is in that box.
If you cannot recall what's in the box, toss it. Never look in that thing again. Now, if you can remember what's in it, then you can re-asses what to do with the items inside of it. Perhaps within those 2 months you have found a purpose for it, but maybe not. In that case, you'll be more willing to either find it a home or toss it/donate it. In the end, you'll know what to do with it.
Of course, there's always vacuuming and the lot, but those I don't really feel the need to express here. I'm assuming you know how to do these :)
While you're doing this process, I want you to keep in mind that all of this you are doing is for your own good. With a clean living environment, you are going to have a mind that lacks visual clutter. The vibrations you will have with a clean place will not be shadowed with distracting thoughts like, "oh dear, my underwears are lying on the floor" or "geez where is that darn book I put down?!". This will help what you put off into the universe, and in turn, you will be much closer to what you want.
I hope that this helps! So how about it? Sunday I am challenging myself and you! Let's do some Spring Cleaning! Let us know about your results!

Scripting
So I got this tool from "Ask and it is Given" by Jerry and Esther Hicks. This is a process that you can use to help you visualize what you want to manifest in the future.
So to do this, all you'll need is:
-Paper
-Writing Utensil
-Your imagination
Now don't go all, "aww I gotta actually write something down?" on me, trust me, once you get started on this, it is actually a lot of fun!
So have a seat with your materials, and think about what you are wanting to manifest soon. (Or not so soon. Whatever you want) Think about exactly what it is you want. Now pick a scene with you in it, having whatever it is that you want to attract. I love to write it like it's a screenplay for a movie! It makes it so much more fun.
Now, include the setting, and everything like that. What is going on in this scene? Who are the main characters? (HINT: You should be one of them!) What are they doing? How are they reacting and feeling about the situation? What do the surrounding look like? Where is the scene taking place? Is it day or night? Spring or Winter? At a library or at the Empire State Building in New York?
Write it all down. Place the setting in the beginning, and then continue the scene by writing the conversation between the characters. Make sure that the conversation is exactly what you want to happen to you. Give the scene movement while they talk. The more that you think about it, the more you will get into it and you'll feel great because everything will be going exactly the way you want it to. This is your vision, you are the one in control of what happens.
When you do this, you'll be letting do your guards, and some of that resistance you have built up will be knocked down.
When you feel it's right, end the scene and sit back and look at your work. I had fun this evening actually acting out the scene that I had created. It's so much fun. This is great visualization, and you know exactly what that means.
Visualization is going to place you in line with what you want. You will be in the state of allowing, and you will be telling the universe that you are ready to have what you have asked for. So the more you practice it out, the more you will bring yourself into the state of allowance and start getting the things you want!
That's about it. I really suggest you do this, and from time to time, act out the scene that you created. It's tones of fun, and you can only reap benefits from it. Just remember to place yourself in that scene as the main character. Also remember your emotions. You know when something feels good, and you know when something feels bad. Don't put anything in your scene that feels bad. Nothing. Put only good in there because that feels good, and you will draw only good to you.
On that note, try it out, and have fun with it! Good Luck :)

Whew! New Project! (Day 25: 3/25/10)
What's the good news?
Hey everyone. I didn't blog yesterday, but I am here today. How's it going? I feel great! I tried the process called 'Scripting' today, and it made me a lot more aware of what I want to happened. It's a great process to try, and it is a lot of fun! Since I didn't blog yesterday, I'll post more information about it tonight after I do this one.
So today I am just in a chatting mood. How was your day? I had a great day, I had a slightly rocky start, but in Art Class I started scripting and everything just got better and better through the day.
A cute guy talked to me today in the library. He even flirted a little. (Great Stuff) I didn't feel nervous at all! I just smiled and played along. I don't think I've ever really done that before. (Mind you, one of my goals is to meet new people, perhaps have a new young romance, but I'm not looking for my soul mate--not yet. I don't want to settle down yet. I want to do young people things and just date around and have fun. I always hear about it, but have yet to experience it all...until now that it, of course because I am open to love and all that :D)
Tomorrow I will be spending the day with my mom and sis. Fun stuff! We might go to DC and check out the cherry blossoms. I'll be sure to try and take some pictures or video or something. That'll be great for the blog, because beautiful things make me feel happy, and good feelings leads to good experiences.
Hmm, I don't really have that much else to say for today. I hope everything is great on your end. KUDOS to Heyer for his post by the way! I was starting to worry that he wasn't getting the whole real picture of the Law of Attraction, but after reading it I see that he's getting there. I feel so proud of him :D
I'll will try to work on the book review tomorrow and have it posted by Sunday, so look forward to that. I will probably be starting the next book tomorrow :)
Oh My Goodness! I almost forgot! I have a new project that I am working on specifically for this blog! I am very excited about it. I can't wait to share it with you, but for right now, it is a secret because I want it to be a surprise! I got the idea for it yesterday, and decided to start on it. It is a little bit time consuming, so it will take a few days. But it is a lot of fun, you'll love it.
Well now that I've got you curious about what it is, I'm going to head off, and let the suspense simmer in your brains until next time. Feel free to leave comments and guess what it is. Maybe I'll drop some clues soon.
Catch you later!

Staying Positive
Whenever i feel sad or depressed at random times i step back and think. Why am i depressed? Is it because im nervous? or afraid? its okay to be afraid but keep in mind that even tho you may be scared or nervous that everything will be okay as long as you stay positive an stay focused. You have to be happy and you have to keep thinking to yourself is it worth being depressed about whatever you are depressed about? Being positive is essential in succeeding in life and you gotta keep your head up. With myself i think about why i am and then i let it go because i have so much to be happy for. Tho it may be hard to do at first you gotta keep focused and stay on the positive. If you dont negativity will surround you and that is not a good thing. Stay positive. stay focused

So how 'bout that....HEALTH CARE??? (Day 23:3/23/10)
What's the good news, all?
Hey, I know that I was going to talk about Spring Cleaning tonight, but I just got out of my Political Science class and I'm a little irked. Tonight I will briefly talk about Politics. Now don't get uptight...I am NOT going to share my political beliefs with you, and I am NOT bringing this up for the point of debate. This blog is about bettering our lives! This will probably be the only post that will involve politics ever.
So pretty much if you've read any of the news lately, you know about the whole health care, I'm not really going to go over it because I don't really know all of the facts, so I'm not going to pretend like I do. That's not what I'm going for here.
In my class tonight there was a lot, a lot, of negativity toward this thing. I mean, we didn't even get three minutes into class before fits of outrage burst out across the classroom. This was another time where I felt so distant from the people around me. I really didn't have much of an opinion about any of it. All of this heated debate and negativity was wizzing around me.
Pretty much what I want to say (rant about) is that if you have a problem with how the government is doing something, please please please do something about it. There are so many things that you can do to get involved. I found that when asked, the majority of the people complained had not voted in a long time, which is pretty easy...the hardest part of that is what? Standing in a line? (If there is one)
But I'm getting off point. No need for undue negativity here. Do you have issues with this health care reform? Well here's what you need to do: call up your representative, your senator, whoever you need to, and have a chat with their staffers. This is your right. Tell them exactly what you have a problem with and let them know what's on your mind.
So how does this tie in with everything I am going for on this blog? I'm not exactly sure. I really just wanted to tell people that they have the ability to do something about their situation. So there you go. I guess it goes with the whole creating your own reality issue. Yeah, my brain is scattered tonight from too much heavy thinking...
Anyway, I won't apologize for being random and all over the place because that's who I am, and I love that person. However I will apologize for the lack of much information in this post. School, school, that's all I have to say. Tomorrow I only have one class so hopefully I can focus more. Come Friday, I hope to give a good article, so stick with me!

Snacking
Lately as i have gained so much weight i have started cutting back on snacks... way back.
Usually i have a granola bar or some little things of 100 calories packs. I've decided to not have basically anything at all. I get pop tarts so i dont have to buy chickfila every morning. and i eat whatever i dont finish by the end of the week. sometimes ill buy a bag of chips if i am dying. i'm trying to shrink my stomach in a controlled manner so i dont get so hungry so often. Portion control is a problem of mine and im trying to fix that. i over eat when i just had something healthy. I'm working towards my goal!

Spring Cleaning! ( Day 22: 3/22/10)
What's the good news?
Hey everyone! Sorry about the lack of video upload yesterday. Serious technical difficulty. I'm going to see if I can get someone to let me upload from their computer, and if not, oh well, there will be more videos! Anyway, that's what happened.
Tonight I would like to talk to you about Spring Cleaning. Have you started yet? (I have not, hehe) But it is really important to do it. Oh, and I am not just talking about cleaning up your house and getting rid of all the clutter. (Even though that is also very important. In fact, I will talk about that tomorrow.) I am talking about your mind!
We all have so many thoughts and every single point in time. "What should I wear tonight?" "What was the answer to that radio trivia question yesterday?" "How do I feel about health care reform?" So, so many thoughts--and yet, the majority of them don't really stay for long. Most of the things we think are passing, fleeting thoughts. Which I guess aren't really all that bad for you as long as you follow your emotions and keep your eyes on the prize.
But there are some thoughts that stay.
"I've been fat my whole life because my whole family has bad eating habits. We're just big people."
"My last boyfriend cheated on me, so there's something wrong with me. That's why I am alone now."
"I could never afford ____"
Like I've said before, thoughts like these are many years in the making, and it's going to take a while to get rid of them. But you can start today, right now. Let's do some Spring Cleaning. Have a seat in your favorite place, and just breathe for a few minutes. You could turn this into a meditation if you'd like, but you really don't have to if you don't want to. Also, it could be beneficial for you to write all of this down, if you want to.
Think about all of the thoughts that you think are holding you back from the things that you want. Take note, or write down, each one. Then think about why this is holding you back. Note that, or write it down. Then think about where the thought may have originated, or where you can remember of it beginning. (None of this is really important to your future, but I think it can show you just how far you've come.)
If you have written all of this down, when you are done, I want you to read everything that you have written, and then take a deep breathe, because what happens next can be scary. I want you to look at that list, and say "I am free from limiting thoughts. I can be anyone I want to be. I am everything I want to be. I can have everything I could ever want. I already have everything that I want. I can do whatever I want to do. I will do everything that I want to do." Say it as many times as you need until it feels real for you. (This may take more than one attempt.) Then I want you to go outside, where ever you keep the garbage bin (but not a trash can in your house--those thoughts have no place in your home anymore! They aren't a part of you.) and toss it. Don't even look it over again, just walk straight there, and toss it. Then your spring cleaning is done!!! (for now.)
If you haven't written any of it down, instead, I want you to reenact the release technique that I showed at the end of the post day number 4, labeled "Wake UP and Smell the Birthday Cake"
Mental Cleaning is very important, because as you know, once you ask the universe, that's it. You've got it. But any thoughts that cause you to have a vibration that counters what you want, is going to hinder you from your desires. So let's get to cleaning, and start the season off F.R.E.S.H FRESH!

Vision Board in Detail (Day 21: 3/21/10)
What's the good news?
I didn't really have a lot to say this evening, so I decided to vlog and give a closer look of my finished Vision Board. I don't really know why it came out sounding a little down...I was so excited when I was making it! Guess that's one more thing to work on. Anyway, have a fabulous night, and I will be back tomorrow night with some information. (Though I might be exhausted from work and school...who knows, I like blogging to you though, so I'll be here.)
Sending love from here to where you are!

Short! (Day 20: 3/20/10)
What's the good news?
Hello all!
This will be another short post, due to the fact that I won't be able to post later tonight. (Religious Holiday) I have to work in a little bit, too.
So today I went shopping and was very outgoing the whole time! I talked to people, and smiled and was just feeling great. Bought some things for my herbal garden that I will be planting later tonight, and some candles and things. OH! My clothes came in the mail a lot sooner than they were expected. I am sooo excited! I tried each thing on about a billion times, and though others think they don't look so great on me, I happen to LOVE my new clothes. I can't wait to mix and match them and wear them outside. I had feared that they wouldn't fit, and the only thing that only didn't fit was a pair of shorts that were only 7 bucks. I can actually make them fit if I do some tailoring, so I'm very pleased with my order! I am glad I did it.
I finished my vision board last night! It was so much fun putting everything together. Though in the end, I found that some things didn't fit (things that I actually didn't have as goals for these 100 days, so it really works out). But I found that I want to do another one!!! It was a lot of fun, and I really focused on the things that I want. I will hang it somewhere that I can see every single day.
Okay, and I'm sorry that I am jumping around from topic to topic, but I decided that I would do a little bit of a report. Today marks 20 days of the 100 Day Challenge. I figure I will report in on my manifestations every 20 days and discuss briefly what has improved on my life, so going back over my list:
1)Enjoy being physically active.
2)Enjoy healthy foods.
3)Gain and love a unique, fun, flirty fashion sense.
4)Have the ability to afford all the material wants, yet still be able to save for the future.
5)Make friends who are supportive, positive, like-minded, and honest.
6)Proudly receive all A's in all of my classes.
For Number 1: I have taken a walk yesterday, and as the weather gets warmer, I am finding it harder and harder to stay in bed. I actually want to get out and do things! Now all that's left is the final push. Working towards it!
Number 2: Getting a lot better at it. Still a work in process. I do find myself craving water more than soda or juice, which a shocking positive. I have never particularly liked drinking water, so that's something.
Number 3: Clothes came in the mail today, and went clothes and shoes shopping Wednesday! Very fun! I'm sure there's more to come!
Number 4: With birthday money, I have been able to spend money for new clothes and shoes and whatnot, and save all of my paychecks in my bank account! I love not having to worry about gas! ALSO (this just in!) One of my co-workers is quitting, so I will be getting plenty more hours on the weekend, which means more money!!!
Number 5: Still a work in progress. I have made new acquaintances both at work and at school, and also old friends have been turning up to contact me.
Number 6: Also still working at it. I currently have very good grades in my classes. I will be able to graduate this summer. I am certainly proud of myself. Especially in Biology, because though I am not a fan of that subject, that's my highest grade yet!
On a side note, I have a lot more energy, and feel happy mostly everyday. I have read through the Jerry and Esther Hicks book 1, "Ask and it is Given". My vision board is completed, and I have such a sense of well-being. I smile all the time, and can't wait for the next awesome thing to happen!
Things to work on: not letting other peoples' moods to affect me, stop worrying about what lies ahead, organization, and trying to make people see things my way.
There's the status report! Again, sorry about being so jumpy, but I am running here, there, and everywhere today. I have to get ready for an amazing day at work!
I hope you are having a splendid day!
Sending love vibrations from here to where you are! Have a GREAT day, and welcome to the Spring!!!

Sing in your Car! (Day 19: 3/19/10)
What's the good news?
So today was a beautiful day! Sunny, 70 degrees outside. I took a very nice walk today. Just a lovely, relaxing day.
Tonight I want to talk to you about singing in your car. Now, I'm sure a lot of people do this. I know I do it. Do you? If not, you definitely need to try it out. Pick a song! It can be on the radio, on a cd, on your Ipod (though, I must say here, make sure it's actually linked to your car's stereo system. If you get pulled over because you have headphones on...I don't know you. ha!) Turn up the volume and sing your heart out.
I find this is really great for me. It's almost like meditating, because I don't think about anything and I just enjoy myself and have a good time. "Oh, but Delia, that's crazy. At the stop lights, people will look at me strange...and that's embarrassing."
If you're thinking that, you clearly haven't learned anything yet. Let's review, shall we? What is the most important thing in the world? Hmm? What was that? Oh yes, correct. The most important thing in the world is how you feel. Right now. Right now, not yesterday or in a few minutes, but now, you need to be happy. You need to feel good. Your happiness is not to be dictated by what other people think of you. If you feel good singing in your car (or ANYTHING, as long as you aren't hurting anyone else) do it!
I am telling you, this is some old fashion, good quality fun, if nothing else. Having fun brings you a lot closer to your hopes and dreams and your desires and happiness. This is because whenever you are happy, that wall that you put up around yourself cracks. Each and every time that you laugh, it's like a wrecking ball against that thing. But keep in mind, that wall is thick. Very thick. You've spent years and years building it. Every single brick is every single negative thought that you have ever had about yourself, about your family, about your situation, about the dude that lives down the street and doesn't cut his grass, negative thoughts. Every single negative thought that you have ever had about anything is a brick in the wall that you have built up around yourself.
Now, that's a pretty thick wall. So what about all those times that you have laughed and smiled? They help. But let me paint you a picture of what they do. Picture that wrecking ball. It's strong, and powerful. But there's only one, okay? You don't get one for every time that you laugh or smile, or be happy in general. It just counts as one big swing on that wall. Now, I'm telling you, you can knock that wall down. You certainly can. But you're going to need a lot, a lot, of swings. The more you laugh and feel joy, the more the swings, and sooner or later, that wall will crack. Then after that, at some point, your wall is going to crumble. But it really wouldn't help for you to be adding new bricks to that wall, now would it?
It's great to have moments where you can chase away the negativity, without it having to mean something. It's like a free coupon to dinner. Singing in your car will do this, I'm telling you. It's a few minutes (or a few hours if you're on a long trip) of being happy just because you are in the moment. It's not because you worked hard all day, you're exhausted and you saw results so now you're going to hit the hay. It's not like you chased somebody for weeks and weeks and they finally agreed to go on a date with you. But you feel good, simply because you feel good. And that feels great.
I urge you to give it a try, today even. Go take a drive around the neighborhood with your radio on. You'll see how great you feel afterward.
I'm telling you this because on my way home from a fabulous dinner tonight, I noticed that I was jamming hard to my Kpop music with the windows down. I was loud, and laughing, and dancing at the stop lights. It was so much fun. By the time I got to my driveway, I didn't even want to get out of the car! I entered the house thinking, I have to share this with people! So here I am! I feel awesome. It's a feel-good thing.
I guess that's really all I have to share with you tonight! I hope that you have had a wonderful day! Oh, and happy entrance of Springtime!!!!
Hoping to do the book review soon!

Reading...Reading...(Day 18: 3/18/10)
What's the good news?
Hey! I am EXHAUSTED. But in a good way of course. Interesting manifestations today. I actually didn't get to sleep until 4:30 in the morning, and had to get up again at 8. Art class was a drag, but I did manage to stay away the whole time! But then...surprise, surprise! My second class for the day got canceled! I was so excited because I could go home early and sleep some before work. That was awesome. (However what is not so awesome is that my teacher is sick. Here's to wishing him well and healthy. I hope that he gets better soon!) Love when beneficial things happened.
I read some more of "Ask and it is Given" in the car before my shift started. I read about the importance of Meditation, and I'm hoping to start doing it soon.
If you don't already know, meditation is a time that you set aside to just clear your mind and be quiet. The book suggests doing it every day for at least 10-15 minutes. Abraham mentions that meditating is very useful to manifesting what you want, because you are in a state of allowing. This is brought about by not having any thoughts at all, thus, not having any negative thoughts.
So here's a new challenge along with everything else! Let's start meditating everyday! It really doesn't matter when, or for how long, but shoot for 15 minutes. I think they say to do it in the morning because that way you get a fresh start on the day...I'm sure they explained it better than that but I don't remember.(heh) I have meditated a few times before and I find that lighting a candle helps me, just make sure it burns for a while, and don't put it anywhere that it's going to set something ablaze or be knocked over. Make sure you where comfy clothing, and get in a comfy position (without falling asleep). I'll give it a go in the morning and let you know how it goes!

Shopping...and paper work still! (Day 17: 3/17/10)
What's the good news?
Happy St. Patrick's Day! A lot of random things happened today. I woke up early to study for a test. I hadn't studied at all before this morning, and the information was about as dry as a saltine cracker. I admit, I brought it on myself, but my goal is to easily achieve all A's in my classes by the end of the semester. So I went in confident that I would ace the thing, even though I didn't have one ounce of an idea of what was on the test. Well whaddya know? I got there a few moments early and happened to get maybe five more minutes of cramming in, and guess what? The test was EASY! I was confident that it would be easy to me, and I believed that I would ace it. I'm pretty sure that I did. There were only a few that I wasn't sure about, but I did the extra credit homework and also the bonus question at the back. I know I did well. It's great. I love.
After that I went shopping with my grandmother. I must admit. This was the first day that I have actually struggled with negativity. It all started as my grandmother being upset by a phone bill, and she was kind of sucking the power out of my fun. Every time we went somewhere, she would either hang back and drift away from me, or comment negatively on everything I picked out. :( Finally I just kind of told her, "Look, I invited you here because I wanted to spend time with you and have fun with you, and you're pushing negativity on me that I don't need." Well of course I didn't say it like that, but it was to that affect. She kept trying to argue with me, but I got to the point where I just realized that it wasn't worth the effort to argue.(because she does not realize the power that she has, or the fact that she always gives it away) I just sat quietly and left her to her own thoughts. I think she realized what was going on.
This was my after-birthday fun, and I just wanted to spend the day with her. But she wasn't making it very fun. I think she realized it and felt sorry. I doesn't matter because I always love my grandma most and I always want to spend time with her. I will continue to invite her because she is one of my best friends in the world. I just need to learn to blockade myself better from her negativity. (and I understand WHY she is negative, so I'm not going to judge her for it) I just have to not let it affect me. Everything will be good then.
I guess that's what I learned today. My resolve was weakened a tad bit today, but right now, at this very moment, I feel awesome. I refuse to let this get me. Tomorrow I will wake up with a smile on my face, and continue this challenge, 18 days strong! I need to work some more on my vision board. (some of the things are actually already manifesting! I got 4 pairs of really nice shoes for just 30 bucks, and some pants for 12! Not to mention my asian clothes are coming in the mail very soon!)
I glued the color background down the other day. Now I will be working on organizing the layout of how I want the pictures and words to be glued on the board. I'm pretty sure that I have all of the images and words that I need for this vision board. They're all cut out, ready to be glued on. I will post more pictures soon!
On that note, I am sleepy. I feel great, I just need rest. 9:30 AM class in the morning. I am motivated to be alert and active in my classes tomorrow, so I will be getting some sleep about now. As Heyer said, "Busy, Busy, Busy!" classes are piling on the homework. But you know, I will stick with this, stick with YOU. I love writing this blog everyday because it is inspiring to me. I enjoying sharing my manifestations.
Today's affirmation was "I cause joy and laughter wherever I go".
My grandmother might be exception to joy and laughter at my account, but this affirmation is very true. Why? It's because I cause MY OWN joy and laughter wherever I go. I am wherever I am (lol) so there IS joy and laughter wherever I go. Does that make any since? Haha.
Have a great night! Much love.

BUSY BUSY BUSY
Being busy is a normal part of being a student in college as well as in life. With work and/or school people find themselves feeling certain dread of doing their work or schoolwork. With me when i feel busy now im not dreading what im doing. im actually enjoying it. I feel like learning is a great experience, not a death sentence. If you are unhappy with what you do in life find a way to change it for the better. Make yourself in a comfortable situation were busy is not a negatory term but a positive one

My Goodness! Paper Overload! (Day 16: 3/16/10)
Hey, what's the good news everyone?
I apologize that this will be such a short post. I have wonderful news! Apparently I have more college credit than I thought, and this summer I will be able to graduate from my community college and transfer to another school. It's great news! Very beneficial and lined up with all of my goals!
But on that note, I have about a week to get all of the paper work in order to do such a thing. So I am very VERY buried in the filling out of applications and such. I know I'm going to make it alright, I just have to get all of the work done. So be patient with me, I'll be back with you tomorrow.
Wish me luck! (Whether I need it or not, well that's beside the point )

confidence booster
Today i felt like i knew what i was doing and i felt comfortable expressing my opinions during critiques in class. With this semester i have learned so much i feel much more confident. I do have a long way to go though but i feel confident in the material i have accumulated over the semester and past 2 years.
Jobtastic! (Day 15: 3/15/10)
WHAT IS THE GOOD NEWS YOU ALL?!?!
Hi. This is like a part 2 of yesterday's manifesting post. So...today at work some man that I had never seen before came up to me and ordered some things. Then randomly he asks, "Do you like working here?". Without thinking, "Yeah, it's fun" flowed out of my mouth and I spent the rest of the evening grinning because I realized that what I said was absolutely, 100% true. Over the course of 1 or 2 weeks, I have grown to love going to work and looking forward to going. It is a huge contrast to just last month when I dragged my feet to work everyday, dreading what the next loony customer would throw at me.
Everyday before work I tell myself that I am going to have a great day, and do what I can to make sure the customers are happy.I also resolve that somethings are out of my control, so I do not worry about them anymore, and simply do what I can. Ever since I started doing that, and imagining myself smiling and having meaningful conversations with customers and co-workers, I have a much better time at work. I almost love it more that going to school! I feel lots more social, and I have a lot of fun just within the company of myself when I'm closing down and there's no one else there.
It's a great feeling. I love it.
Oh, I'm almost finished reading the first book of the Abraham Hicks lessons that I got. I think I am going to either do a review, or report on the major things I learned from it. I'm not sure which yet, or maybe I'll do both. Either way, expect to see that within the next week or so!
Always remember: the most important thing in the world is how you feel right now! So if you aren't happy right now, know that you have the right to be, and I encourage you to be.

With Spring break being over I'm looking on the positive side of things. I know that just around the corner will be summer and warmer weather. Im sick of this cold shit. but im not looking forward to pollen. But i know as long as i stay positive and take my allergy medicine ill be good. I'm hoping pollen season is short this year.
otherwise my new goal is to get a job at AC Moore. im going to apply this week and hopefully score an interview by the end of the month. If circumstances are to be met where im not suppose to get a job at AC Moore then i will apply else where. somewhere either in electronics. an internship. or anything that i have good knowledge of. I know i will get some sort of job/internship this summer

Making friends! (Day 14: 3/14/10)
What's the good news!
Hey there! This'll be quick because I have class tomorrow and I need to get some rest after a somewhat hectic (but very fun) work day.
I just wanted to share some manifestation with you today.
This morning, I decided that I wanted to make a friend today. I put my attention toward it, imagining myself shaking hands and exchanging names with another person. I set my facebook status to: today I will make a new friend.
Guess what. It worked. Everything happened exactly how I envisioned it. I met my new friend at work, and he was very nice. I was just in (positive) shock and awe as I walked to my car. I mean I knew it works, but it just blows my mind every time that I realize I can have anything as long as I focus on it.
It's great stuff! I love it even more everyday. I encourage you to try it out. If you're doing it right, it can only bring you good.

Evolution of Jealousy? (Day 13: 3/13/10)
What's the good news?
You know, yesterday's post had me thinking all day about this subject of jealousy. So I thought that I would speak about it today. Where does jealousy start? Where does it come from? I wish I knew so that I could track down the source and fight it with an axe! Let's take a look, shall we?
Most people get their first taste of jealousy when they are just little kids! Say Mom is having a new baby. The new baby starts to take up all of the attention...then a kid will start to act out or feel bad because of the feeling that the new baby has something he or she does not have: the love and attention (however untrue that is.) Or for kids who don't have siblings, they feel jealous because all the other kids have something that they don't have: a little brother or sister to boss around. Or a bigger brother or sister who will stick up for them against bullies.
It all comes down to somebody having something that you don't have. But I really wonder about the core of the feeling of jealousy. I mean there are plenty of things that people have that I don't feel jealous about. I see a man getting a speeding ticket: I don't feel jealous. I serve my customers potato salad, knowing that I will have fish for dinner: I don't feel jealous. I see someone pick up the library book that I was going to check out: I don't feel jealous. Maybe a little frustrated that I made the trip all the way to the library for that book and someone else got it; but not jealous.
So it has to be somebody having something that you don't have, that you want. That's where jealousy comes from, supposedly. But what about love relationships? Say you visit your boyfriend at work and you notice that one of his co-workers is none too shy in the flirting department. You feel jealous. But why? You're the one who has what she doesn't, and may possibly want. So why on earth is there jealousy here?
Tonight I am asking you. I can't possibly have all of the answers to everything, and this is something that I have let bother me in the past. Jealousy is an alignment blocker, so we need to figure out a way to bash it a way and place the alignment back.
Why do we REALLY feel jealousy? Where does it come from? How can we get rid of it for good?
If you know, please feel free to comment below. I would love to have a discussion on this. I will be searching for the answers and will post on my findings.

Rain, Chicken Potpies, and Arggh Batteries! (Day 12: 3/12/10)
What's the good news?
Hope you can see that picture! That is the current progress of my vision board! I decided that I didn't want just pictures and words, so I added a color theme in the background. Purple is for my spirituality goals, and blue is cool, so I used it for my fashion and health goals. I chose green for my finance goals, and red and pink for romantic goals. Yellow is where I will be placing most of my academic stuff. But I am pretty sure that they won't all be confined to one single space area because, like I've said before, a lot of my ambitions overlap each other. You'll see. It's going to be great! I'll keep you posted!
Rain, rain, rain all day. I actually love the rain, especially today's rain. It was like a nice mist. I enjoy rain like that because it makes me feel like we are all just little buds waiting to grow, and God is watering us all! (Hehe) If you can't tell already, I'm in a good mood today.
I got to cook today, which was a lot of fun! I made chicken potpie. They were so yummy, I'm so glad that I got to do it. Can't wait to have my own family and try out my cooking skills on them! (Actually I can wait, but that's just a saying, yeah?)
So my dad came and took me out tonight for my birthday. I really enjoyed spending time with that other side of my family. We had a blast. But there was one thing that stuck out to me.
We were in the car, and my little brother was going on and on about various celebrities and how "fake" they were. While the conversation went on, I sat there inside myself, feeling so very distant from the whole topic. Just a few months ago, maybe even 12 days ago, I would have been right there, talking about it. But my viewpoint has somewhat shifted.
It's like he was speaking a different language to me. It wasn't that I wanted to be distant or anything, it's just that I had absolutely no opinion on the matter. Like whatever the celebrities do to themselves to achieve their fame doesn't matter to me anymore. It's strange. I usually love juicy celebrity gossip. But now it's like beating a dead horse. Mind you, I do still show interest in certain celebs who have held my attention for some time now, but it's on a completely different scale. I don't really know how to explain it. I just genuinely feel more focused on myself and what I want out of life. (And it's not a selfish thought in any way) I feel like everybody has their own way of life, everybody will do something different for themselves. If a woman believes that it is right for her to parade around half-naked on a stage, so be it. (As long as she's not hurting anyone else)
People should not apologize for being who they want, or doing what they deem right (so long as it doesn't hurt anyone else, of course). Every person is different, and in that fashion, different things make different people happy. I realized that today, and realized that perhaps it has meaning here in this 100 Day Challenge.
In so many ways it does! Where should I start? Well this is already getting to be a long post, so I will try and keep it short.
Don't judge other people. Just because you think something odd does not make it wrong. Don't talk about people whom you know nothing about.
Why?
Well first things first, it's rude. Enough said.
Second, it's going to take you out of alignment from what you want. (I learned this sort of from another Abraham Hicks lesson) Don't worry about other people, and what other people want. It's not what you want. Giving attention to anything other than what it is that you want, is only going to draw into your life the things that you don't want! Understand?
Think about it. You want a romantic, flirty, fun relationship. Oh look! You see a couple in the corner, playing tonsil hockey. Tacky, right? I mean goodness, PDA much? Get a room! Ugh!
Look at what you've just done.
You gave your attention (no matter how envious or not they may be) to what you think is wrong. You gave attention to a negative feeling. That 'ugh' feeling (jealous or not) is not what you want is it? The universe gives you exactly what you are asking for, and right now, you are asking for more 'ugh' (jealous?) feelings. So what will you see on the way home? Hmmm....PDA PDA PDA! Couples holding hands! Couples groping each other shamelessly! Couples canoodling in a car somewhere?! All the while, you are still alone! You are still waiting for that relationship, the same one that you're seeing everywhere, to happen to you! Why? It's because your focus is elsewhere.
Switch your focus. Give attention to what you want.
Give attention to ONLY what you want.
Mar 11, 2010
Staying focused
Staying focused on your goals is most important. keep reminding yourself what you want and that you will receive it. Focus and be calm. Relax and only focus on what you want.
Set the Mind (Day 11: 3/11/10)
What's the good news?
Well, work was fantastic today! I was in such a good mood this morning when I woke up, and that carried me all the way through the day.
Funny story, I cause a pipe to fall the other day and I didn't know how to get it back on, and also I left a somewhat private notebook at my place of work the same day. I was worried about both, but somehow managed to get myself to believe that everything would be fine when I went to work today, and that combined with me great mood made it an awesome work day.
I finished my work pretty early because there were hardly any customers. When I got home, I found out that a pair of my new Asian style pants that I bought had been canceled from my order. I was annoyed for half a second, but then realized that they're just pants, I will still look fabulous in all the other cool things I bought and also in my older clothes!
I'm excited to tell you that my vision board is really coming together! I can't wait to show it because I'm really proud of it. (And very thankful for those who have help in supplying me with the magazines needed to do it ;P)
Tomorrow I am going to have a lot of fun! But I must prepare for it, so excuse me early tonight, and I will probably have an informative post tomorrow!
OH, and before I forget, if you are interested, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE check out Esther and Jerry Hicks' book called "Ask and it is Given". It is a great book to read to get you started in the right direction! It does get a little bit repetitive in places, but it is definitely a must read in order to get the basics of LoA.

Down Time (Day 10: 3/10/10)
What's the good news?
Well like the title says, today was pretty much a day for down time. Spent a while reading my new books, and just lounging around the house. I work tomorrow so I thought that it would be nice to relax.
Worked some more on my vision board again. I'm still in the process of combing through magazines and newspapers for words and pictures and cutting them out. I really enjoy this part! I promise to post pics soon.
So all in all there isn't really much to report. I feel good, and reading the teachings of Abraham makes me feel even more great. I love days like this!
Also, I got two new subscribers on my youtube channel and one new friend! This means I am making more connections with people who are like-minded. Before you know it, I'll have good friends within the webbernets community, and then in real life! I love it!
I hope you had a great day! Cheers to rising with a smile.

Good V Evil
With this challenge i have come to learn that I am my best friend and also my own enemy. I have to make myself happy and let go of anger, frustration, and addiction to wanting things right when im angry. I need to have a good balance and then make it all happy.

"I Don't have _____" (Day 9: 3/9/10)
What is the good news?
Hi! I have to tell you, today has been such a fantastic day! I went to a New Age shop with my sister and got some cool stuff, I visited my mother at her job, and went to see the new Tim Burton movie. Oh, and I went to the bookstore and got a book pack of Jerry and Esther Hicks books!
A bit of money spending...
I had a bit of a nagging voice in the back of my head. "You can't afford this. You shouldn't spend this money, or else you won't have the money you need for later." Nagging me, nagging me constantly. I picked up and put back that book pack several times. Battling with myself.
So let's talk about the power of words here.
Those who are familiar with the Law of Attraction know that the Universe functions on vibrations, not words. So if you say, "I don't want to see red cars!" The vibration you are sending out is red cars. So guess what you will see???
Yup. Red cars. Vroom.
Applying this to my nagging voices, me saying "I don't have any money" sends out the vibration of 'lack of money' so guess what happens? Yup, I would continue to get my paycheck every week, spend for gas, and then not have any money to spend. I want to change that. Right now. So that is why I picked up the items that I wanted (truly wanted) all the while beating that nag voice with a metal fork and saying, "I CAN afford this. I have the money for what I want AND what I need, I am happy."
I bought all the things I want. I feel great. So what have we learned today? Be careful of what you say! This all corresponds with trusting that you'll get what you've asked for. Don't say you want something and then negate that by saying things like, "Oh I couldn't" or "I don't have enough ___". You're only sending the message that you aren't ready for it. This could be hard, because even I know that sometimes we say things that we don't necessarily mean. Things like "I'm so stupid" or "This is dumb" etc. We don't mean them, but the vibration still isn't in line with what we do want. So watch it!
If you catch yourself saying negative things IMMEDIATELY reinforce positive thoughts. I have this problem a lot. I often will say things like, "What a dork" in reference to myself, or as we've seen already, "I don't have any money". So when I catch myself saying these things I repeat some of my affirmations over and over until I feel good again.
"I'm a dork" changes into "I am attractive, funny, and smart. I attract the right attention to myself."
"I don't have any money" changes into "I can afford everything that I want and also everything that I need."
On a final note, just be more aware. Many people live their lives on autopilot and that's where the unhappiness settles in. In order for this all to work, you have to be more aware. Be more aware of the things you say, be more aware of the way that you feel, be more aware of what you think. You need to know exactly what it is that you're sending into the universe because that's the difference between I feel great, I feel happy, and I feel awful, I feel like something in my life is missing.
Wake up. I find that the coffee smells quite good on this side of line. I hope that you will too.
I will be reading the new books that I got today, so there will soon be more info to pass around. Hope you stick with me!

A New Day, A New Week (Day 8: 3/8/10)
What's the good news?
Oh my, I almost completely forgot that yesterday marked the end of Week 1 of the 100 Day Challenge!
Hang on a second as I do my celebration dance.
Ok. So as I was saying, yes! One glorious, fabulous week. Lots of laughter, many smiles, and good thoughts. I feel very strong! Mentally and physically. I have a lot of energy, and my affirmations everyday give me a jolt of power that lasts throughout the day. Tomorrow I don't have to work, so I will probably be posting LoA information or something along the lines.
So if you are doing this, how are you after one whole week? How do you feel?

How do you feel about your JOB? (Day 7: 3/7/10)
What's the good news?!
Hey! This'll probably be another short post. Spring Break is here, and my focus happens to be alllllll over the place! But I will stay committed to this because I believe in its power and I am determined!
I woke up today very hesitant to go to work today. I wonder why? Well, there are a lot of things that aren't exactly...glamorous about my job, and I do find myself (up til this point) not very social with my co-workers. (I'm working on this though, as of late I have been a lot more friendly, and people have noticed the difference :D)
But lets switch gears and discuss the greatness that is my job. I get out of the house for a few hours most days, I get money to go to school and buy hobby things. Oh, and the most important. I actually call my job my own personal WWII.
Now that's a little odd, isn't it? Why on earth would someone refer to their job as a war (and in a positive way?!)? I learned in American History class that it was WWII that actually brought the United States out of the Great Depression. Well think like that. I was very depressed and un-hopeful before I got my job. It was when I started working that I felt a sense of responsibility and I felt like I was needed. It's a great feeling. I got too busy to be depressed. So I am very thankful for my job!
So how do you feel about your job?
A lot of people hate their jobs, so I challenge you today to find something about your job that you love. It could be as simple as your paycheck, or as great as you met your spouse there! ANYTHING, find something that you love about your job today! Give yourself a reason to roll out of bed with a smile on your face.

Celebration! (Day 5: 3/5/10)
What's the good news?
I'm not going to talk very much tonight! I've got a bunch of things to work on, but I just have to say, my birthday celebration was a blast! I am very, very grateful for all of the people who cared enough to celebrate it with me! It was a fun evening, and I'm glad that I did it! I even ended up showing off some of my dance moves, which is something that I would have shied away from a year ago. This confidence thing is great! I love it!
A very uplifting day! I had nothing but good things to think about all day long, even when some people were being negative, I still felt great inside. Tomorrow, well be even greater, since that's my actual birthday!
Today's affirmation: I am outgoing.
I made that very true today. When you feel happy, store the feeling in your bones, then you can bring it up whenever you need a boost!

Wake UP and Smell the Birthday Cake! (Day 4: 3/4/10)
What's the good news?
Hey everyone. I'm going to go straight to the point today. This could be my very first almost negative day. I mean I feel good, and nothing is wrong with me, but circumstances have made themselves present to challenge me.
So Saturday is my birthday. Yup, yup, Delia-dearest will be turning 20 years old! (So old! So young?) I was excited to have a calm dinner with my family. That's pretty much all that I wanted to do, and I've just realized why. Well sort of. Long story short, it got canceled because some people couldn't show up. (And actually, it isn't even canceled, it's more or less postponed. But I digress.) So instead I get to invite friends to a small get together. That's awesome! But the more I think about it...I don't really have that many friends to invite. I have one person in mind who can probably come...and then my older sister, and that's it.
GOAL #5 Make friends who are supportive, positive, like-minded, and honest.
Looks like this one's been called out, hasn't it?
Let me just say, that last year I went through some tough times, which involved me drawing back from people. At that time I felt that my friends had their own new lives, and I was busy wallowing in my own self-pity. Nobody had time or care, to wonder how I was. (That's how I felt at the time) This thinking slowly, very slowly, evolved into me realizing that I didn't really like myself. So I took a long amount of time to relearn myself, and start liking the company of myself.
It worked. But looking from a different angle, I see that this has also been another reason for me to distance myself from my friends. I'm in a re-awakening state, and I feel that I'm on a completely different level from the people I used to hang out with. Which, I have been informed, happens to everyone at some point. I COULD be sad about this. I don't really feel close enough to anyone that I would want to share my 20th birthday with. (the only few people I do feel that close to, are very busy.) That's why I felt most comfortable just having a dinner with my family. At least, that's what I'm thinking right now.
I COULD be sad about this. I COULD be feeling lonely.
But instead, right here, and right now as I type this, I'm going to choose to LET IT GO.
My Daily Affirmation for the day is: I attract only happy, great experiences to myself.
I want that to be true. I'm willing it to be true. So I have to let that go. All of that stuff that happened last year, it doesn't matter. Whatever happens tomorrow, whoever decides to show up, whoever I feel will be my friend tomorrow; none of that matters!
How do I FEEL RIGHT NOW? That's what matters. I have a test in thirty minutes, but that doesn't matter either. How do I feel, right now? I feel calm. I feel peaceful. It's sunny outside, and I find it beautiful.
I just saw someone who is friendly to me, and I smiled because I genuinely meant 'hello, how are you?' It's quiet in this library that I am blogging in. It's peaceful. I feel good.
That matters. So here I go: I am imagining a big, red door in front of me, that opens up to nothing but sky and clouds in a silent forest. I am taking all of that pent up feeling: the loneliness, the regret, the thoughts of 'oh, nobody has time for me...' all of that. I ball it up and tie a pretty yellow bow on it. I lift my foot, and kick it right out of that door. I'm letting it fly through the threshold, and unravel into the sky. The yellow bow unties and all of those feelings fall apart and disperse.
I close the door and it's over. I'm done. And guess what? I feel much better now than when I started typing.
I guess the point is to start looking up releasing methods that will help. Letting go of negative things is detrimental to your growth. You have to learn to let things go. You'll never get anywhere with grudges, or depression, simply wallowing around feeling sorry for yourself; it's not going to work. (More on Releasing methods later)
Let it go, and let it go now. You'll feel better.
I know I do! I feel awesome right now!

Day Three
Heyer
Well today was the first day i decided to go first in class to critique my work. I feel like this was a big step for me. I feel more confident in my work even though its not the best yet because it isn't the final product, im willing to go ahead and get feedback as soon as possible
Feeling Groovy (Day 3: 3/3/10)
What's the good news?
Wow, what a possible dull, dull day this is. Very gray out, overcast, cold...potential for a dip in morale. Don't get it twisted, friends, I feel great. But this brings up a great topic.
It's not always going to be warm and sunny. The weather will not always reflect how you want to feel inside. So what should you do? How do you work up to feel fantastic, when it looks like Storm from The X-men has a personal vendetta against you? ( And note that this will be more difficult for some than others. For some people, the weather is a huge factor in determining how they feel.)
Well I suggest that you start small. If you wake up, and it looks scary outside, turn your eyes from the window, and look around your room. There's got to be something in that room you like. There's something there you enjoy looking at. Smile, it's aesthetically pleasing to you! Make it seem like that thing is the center of your universe. Let that feeling of happiness take over you. Think, "Wow, I really love my 'Waffle Pencil', it is beautiful and I am thankful to have it in my life!"
Just have fun with it. Before you know it, you'll be singing in the shower. Then that good mood will fuel your enjoying breakfast, and then you'll skip to your car, whistle at work...you'll just be happy. (And all thanks to your happy 'Waffle Pencil')
That's' pretty much what I did today. It was gray this morning, and I could have groaned and crawled out of bed dreading the day. But instead, I focused in and gazed adoringly at my netbook. It's a really nice piece of hardware that lets me get all of my work done. It's very pretty (purple colored) and the best part is that I bought it with my own money that I worked for. 3-5 minutes I spent just being devoted to and in love with my netbook. (And this is just an example. You don't HAVE to pick an actual OBJECT. You can pick an attribute about your life, or yourself. Whatever will get you to smile.) Then I was good for the rest of the day! Really, I kid you not.
Just give it a try. I was able to pay attention and understand a really difficult Science lecture, then clean and organize my room. I had the most fun working on my vision board, and it gets better and better. I might even take a quick jog before starting my homework.
Abraham Hicks taught me: the most important thing in the world is HOW YOU FEEL, RIGHT NOW. So let's work at feeling great now, so that we make a cycle of feeling great, and draw only great experiences.

ENERGY! (Day 2: 3/2/10)
What's the good news, everyone?
Today was a great day. Still happy with yesterday's events, (A on my Bio test, great vibes from Sunday's Full Moon, awesome time at work) so I was already in a really good mood when I woke up.
The awesome thing about this is that change started happening long before yesterday. We came across the 100 Day Challenge like 2 weeks ago, and as soon as we decided that we were going to do it, things started happening. It's really cool!
Today I was able to keep my eyes open in my Art History class (which is rare because I'm not much of a classical art type person, and it's at 9 in the morning), and I got my paper typed early so I could enjoy my long break between classes.
I guess that the magic word here is ENERGY. It's a great thing to have if you want to live proactively. Many of my goals require a heavy amount of energy, so this is a very good thing.
Oh! and great stuff! Goal numbers 4 and 5 (Gain and love a unique, fun, flirty fashion sense, and have the ability to afford all the material wants, yet still be able to save for the future) have sparked today. You may or may not know, but I am highly interested in the Asian Street Fashion, and have been considering getting clothes in that style. TODAY I got an email about a specific SALE that allows me to buy several nice outfits, and get FREE S&H. I'd be crazy to pass up on this! So I will take my shot at getting a new wardrobe to match my personality.
This is all very exciting! Stick around as things get more interesting.

Law of Attraction Basics
“Ask, and it is given.”
That seems easy and appealing, doesn't it? Well let me be the person to tell you...it is. But there's a catch, as with many of the great things in life.
So you want a hundred bucks. So what? A lot of people want a hundred bucks. Ah, but you need the hundred bucks because the bills were high this month, and you need to keep gas in your car. Not to mention that newest tech toy is looking mighty fine...and mighty expensive. Okay. So how do you get your one hundred bucks? Well you didn't come here to read about marketing strategies, or budgeting, so I'm not going to waste time with that. Let's talk LoA.
I'm putting it in steps for the ease, and sanity, so bear with me:
Step 1: Have the desire. Well most people who end up here already did this part. But if not, think hard (or not so hard). Ask yourself, “What on Earth do I want?”
Step 2: Ask for it. You can pray, write it down, think it, spray paint it on your house, spell it with your Alphabet Refrigerator magnets, blog it—the list goes on and on. Whatever way you do it (and do it just once—see below), state intentionally WHAT you DO want. Only that. There will be more on negative statements later.
Step 3: Trust that you'll get it. It's a law. That means it works. If you call for it, you'll get it. So let it go. If you really trust the system, you'll go about your life. If you ask, and then ask again, and again, and then just for safe measure, you know, in case you weren't heard, ask once more—nothing is going to happen. Trust me, the universe (God, creator, source, whatever name you give) heard you the first time. You'll get what you asked for. But only when it is right. Only when you are ready. So if you are constantly asking for the same thing, you're really saying, “I still want this, I want this, I'm not ready for it yet though because I'm still ASKING for it.” Let it go!
Step 4: Use your tools. Now you could possibly get confused here. “Now Delia, didn't you just say not to ask more than once? Aren't the tools re-asking?” No. Not really. Sure, if you use a vision board, for example, you are reminded daily of the things that you have asked for, but it's different. This is your visualization. If you visualize yourself as already having your wants, seeing yourself happy with the results, that's essentially saying, “Hey, look, I already see myself with it; I GOT THIS.” So you aren't asking for it, rather you already feel like it's yours. So you'll get it.
Step 5: Receive it. You got it! Yay!
Step 6: Gratitude. Don't be a jerk. Be thankful for what you have allowed yourself to get. Just say 'thank you for ____' and while you're at it, say thank you for all that other stuff you get to enjoy everyday but never think about. You know, like breathing...It never hurts to be grateful. You'll feel good. If you feel good, then you'll be ready to start in on the next thing. Plus, you know it works now! So everything becomes golden.
Then you start over. It's like a cycle. Eventually you'll have everything that you could possibly want, right? Great stuff.
So what was the catch? I mean, all of that is simple. Nothing new. But the catch is that most people don't make it past step 2. Why? They don't let go. No trust. I urge you—trust and let go! You don't have to, but it's probably worth your while to try. But how? Just K.I.S.S.(The second S is for Smarty! 'Cuz if you're using LoA, "stupid" should not be in your vocab.) After you ask, go about your way with something you enjoy. Let that distract you, and enjoy yourself. I find that when I'm happy doing something that's fun, I simply don't bother thinking about what I could use more of, or what I wish I had.
And that's it! I mean there are whole conventions about this stuff. There's books and websites and workshops, classes...but that's the basic point of it. If you want to, give it a try. There's a lot of information about the Law of Attraction, just do a Google search. I will be providing link to useful sites as well as time goes on.

DAY ONE: HEYER
Hello All!
My History: Well for the majority of my life has been a not so tragic sob story. I have been overweight for most of my life and went through my parent's divorce. For most of my childhood I was filled with negative thoughts of being a loser and that no one gave a shit about me. But since the events of my childhood I had a physical trainer who helped me loose most of my weight. With this challenge I hope to gain self confidence and become slimmer.
My name is Heyer, my web name, and I am blogging here with my friend Delia. We are both participating in the 100 day challenge as she stated in her post.

Hi AND WELCOME! (Day 1: 3/1/10)
Hello and Welcome to our blog! Thanks for stopping by to see what we are all about!
I go by Delia for all webbernets purposes. (:P)
If you are here it is because:
A) You are interested in 100 Day Challenge, Law of Attraction, etc.
B) We know you, or
C) You landed on this page by complete chance
((D) All of the above?)
Well any of those reasons is perfect! There's no such thing as "wrong" on this page. So do please enjoy, and if your life changes because of reading this...all the better, yes?
SO WHAT IS THE 100 DAY CHALLENGE?
Well it is quite simply, a challenge of 100 days! We (my team mate and I) came across the 100 Day Challenge by complete accident. Finding Lilou Mace's youtube videos and leading us to the website of the 100 Day Challenge. We decided, "Hey! let's do this!" But we didn't really want to post our blogs there for our own reasons. So we're doing here instead.
Now, the 100 Day Challenge is taking the Universal Laws (The Law of Attraction, Law of Action, Law of Vibration, etc.) and putting them to use for the benefit, for a complete 100 Days. To get the things you want, within a time frame that works for you. Can I just say the co-founders: Lilou Mace, Sandy Grason, and Laura Duksta are now heroes!
There will be more information on the laws coming soon, and if you are interested, the link to the 100 Day Challenge website is found here:
Before I go any further I'm going to shoot out a disclaimer: neither myself or Heyer hold claim to, or are responsible for that website! If you try, and you are dissatisfied with your results, we are not to blame!
And with that comes the mission statement: This blog is for journaling and social purposes: we are blogging to support each other and others who may be trying the 100 Day Challenge! Also, would like to share our collected experiences and results so that we may inspire others to take control of their lives...
Okay! YAY! The business portion is out of the way!!! Now for the fun part!
I guess that I am going to give a very brief history of the path that led me up to this point. Actually, I think that I'm going to put it in a nutshell for now. (I will probably go into detail later.)
MY HISTORY: I have lived a very dull, unhappy, cookie-cutter styled life.
Yeah, that's pretty much what led me here. Around mid-high school to early college, I decided, "hmm, I don't like this. Let's scrap this and try again..."
So here I am, mind and heart open, to change and be changed, learn and teach, enjoy life basically. I can't wait! These 100 Days are going to be the most transformational, exciting, (insert glamorous word for awesome) days that I have experienced yet! By the way, thanks for sticking by to share it with me.
So I have many goals for the 100 Day Challenge but I am only going to highlight the most important ones:
1)Enjoy being physically active.
2)Enjoy healthy foods.
3)Gain and love a unique, fun, flirty fashion sense.
4)Have the ability to afford all the material wants, yet still be able to save for the future.
5)Make friends who are supportive, positive, like-minded, and honest.
6)Proudly receive all A's in all of my classes.
I'll just go with those goals because they will be my central focus. In fact, all of the other goals I have either go hand-in-hand with these goals, or will be the result of these goals. It's good news.
So according to the website, one should use different tools in order to aid the accomplishment of the goals. There is a long long list of tools that can be used. I have a feeling that I will be using at least half the list...
FOR NOW I will be using the following tools for reinforcement and visualization:
Vision Board: a collage of pictures and words that illustrate desires, in order to help the creator visualize their wants, and thus, placing the person into closer alignment with those desires.
Affirmations: Statements that reinforce positive vibrations. Personally, I have written about 50 affirmations on small slips of paper and placed them into a jar that I will draw from everyday.
Blogging: Well it's pretty self-explanatory, but journaling is great for reflection. With a record of all the experiences, one can see all of the results and changes that have occurred. Blogging is more public, which makes the person open to support from others.
I will post pictures of my vision board, and examples of my affirmations as time goes on.
So there you have it! The 100 Day Challenge has started! We're so excited to do this and we hope you are too! Stick with us as we get out of the intro, and move more into the experiences that will show you that THIS WORKS and is AMAZING.
And with that, I will leave a final note (warning) (as if I haven't talked enough.)
We will not tolerate negativity here. Whether it's non-belief type criticisms or just full out trolling, we don't care. Negative is negative, and it's unwelcome here.
But we trust you! You're welcome here!
Stay tuned ^_^ (it gets more interesting that this I promise.)
